The Typhidot IgG Test is a serological assay offered by Augmentum Diagnostics to detect the presence of Immunoglobulin G (IgG) antibodies against Salmonella typhi, the bacterium that causes Typhoid Fever. Unlike the Typhidot IgM test, which targets acute infection, the IgG test is used to determine if an individual has had a past infection or was previously vaccinated against Typhoid.
