The Measles IgG Antibody Test is a serological blood test used to detect the presence of IgG class antibodies specific to the Measles virus (also known as Rubeola).
IgG antibodies are produced later in response to infection or vaccination and remain detectable for the rest of a person's life. Therefore, a positive Measles IgG result is the primary laboratory evidence used to confirm immunity to the virus, whether acquired through natural infection or through the MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccine.
At Augmentum Diagnostics, an NABL-Accredited Lab in Delhi, including our location near Dwarka, we offer reliable serological testing to assess protective immunity against Measles.
